Veriden — Full Reference

Veriden is proof of humanity. In an age where synthetic identities, agent personas, and machine-generated everything are flooding into civic life, being verified as a real human who actually showed up becomes the substrate of trust.

What becomes precious

A few years ago the question "are you a real human?" was answered by inertia. The default identity in civic and economic life was human. Bots existed, but they were edge cases.

That default has dissolved. Synthetic identities, AI agents acting on behalf of unknown principals, machine-generated content, voices cloned from public recordings, faces generated from prompts — the noise floor has risen until the signal of actual human presence requires deliberate verification.

This is not a future problem. It is the present substrate of every consequential interaction online and increasingly offline.

Veriden is the answer.

What a Veriden is

A Veriden is three things, kept together:

  1. A physical artifact. A ring, a pin, or a coin. Something you can hold, wear, or carry. The form varies by Forge.
  2. A cryptographic key pair. Generated at a Forge in ceremony, the public key registered in the member graph.
  3. A provenance record. A signed account of who was present at the issuance, what was earned, and which Forge issued it.

The three are bound together. The artifact without the key is jewelry. The key without the record is a number. The record without the artifact is a footnote. Together they are a Veriden.

How a Veriden is earned

A Veriden is issued in a ceremony at a Wildvine Forge. The ceremony is not paperwork — it is the heart of the system. A Veriden marks a moment when a person was present, contributed, and was witnessed by other present, witnessed humans.

This is the part that does not scale by automation, and that is the point. If it could be automated, it would not be proof of humanity.

Veridens cannot be purchased. They cannot be sent. They cannot be assigned administratively. They are not a paywall, a membership tier, or a status badge. They are a record of having done something with other people, at a specific place, in a specific moment.

What a Veriden does

A Veriden allows a verified human to:

Over time, Veriden infrastructure will be used outside of Wildvine — by other institutions that need to verify human presence and contribution. The protocol is open, the ceremony is local, and the artifact carries through.

What Veriden is not

Where Veriden fits

Veriden is one of two trust layers in the Wildvine ecosystem. The other is Veria (veria.us), used to verify outcomes rather than presence. Veriden answers was this a real human? Veria answers did this actually happen?

Veriden is anchored by the Wildvine Forge network — the physical places where the ceremony of issuance occurs. Each Forge runs as a Proactiva OS tenant. To learn the broader Wildvine thesis, see wildvine.com.

When Forges open

The first Forge opens when the operational pattern, the Veriden ceremony, the mission-locked operating agreement, and the right place all line up. The pattern is being built now. Updates are posted at veriden.com and wildvine.com.

There is no waitlist. There is no early-access tier. There is contribution, and there is the ceremony.
