# Veriden

> Veriden is proof of humanity. In an age where synthetic identities, agent personas, and machine-generated everything are flooding into civic life, being verified as a real human who actually showed up becomes the substrate of trust.

A Veriden is three things kept together: a physical artifact carried from a Wildvine Forge (a ring, a pin, or a coin), a cryptographic key pair issued in ceremony, and a signed provenance record of who was present and what was earned.

Veridens cannot be purchased. They cannot be sent. They cannot be assigned. They are earned, in person, with witnesses. The ceremony of issuance is the heart of the system.
